Not only are some key mechanics not explained to you, some controls feel sluggish, like you’re fighting against your own character. ![]() You fight some pretty fun bosses here and there if you can struggle through the tutorial, but even that is a slog. A side-scrolling shooter with clear inspiration from Cuphead and a 1930’s aesthetic style, Enchanted Portals has thrown in a plot about some rookie magicians knocking over a mysterious tomb that opens the aforementioned portals into weird and wacky levels. ![]()
